JSO Easter Play Day for local musicians — past, present and future!
This is not a public performance. The aim is to rediscover playing as an ensemble after 2 long years of COVID-19 cancellations, to develop our skills, and to reach out to new players.
Calling all Jersey musicians if you are:
already a JSO player, or
grade 7 or above in an orchestral instrument, and
over 16 years old
Tutors
Conductor and strings tutor: Thomas Payne former visiting violinist with JSO
Woodwind tutor: Joss Campbell, sometimes a visiting flautist with JSO
Brass tutor: Adam Brown, well-known local trumpet professional

Beethoven Egmont Overture
plus a special programme for the brass section
Schedule for the day
10.30am — full rehearsal
12.00pm — lunch and catch-up
1.30pm — sectionals
3.00pm — break and prepare for full rehearsal
3.30pm — full rehearsal
5.00pm — finish
