The Christmas 2022 JSO Concert on the 18th December 2022 was certainly something a bit different in bringing so many Latin-American pieces of music to the Les Quennevais School Hall but it was acclaimed by many to have been one of the best JSO concerts we have ever enjoyed.
Our guest conductor was Natalia Luis-Bassa, assisted by our Leader Martin Smith. Natalia is a Professor of Conducting at the Royal College of Music and Lecturer at Huddersfield University and was appointed Principal Guest Conductor of the Oxford University Orchestra in 2020.

To cap the evening off, we collected a grand total of £891.51 for the Bailiff's Fund towards the two recent tragedies that Jersey has suffered.
